Deputy Headteacher

Salary Range – L8-L12

Full time Permanent position with effect from January 2018 or earlier if possible.

 

The Governors and Head teacher of  Whitchurch CE Infant & Nursery School seek to appoint an inspirational teacher and enthusiastic leader to undertake the role of Deputy Headteacher.

 

We are looking for an individual who can support the Head teacher in providing a strong and visible leadership within our school and the local community and who has the ability to lead, challenge and enthuse children and colleagues alike. The post will involve a part-time teaching commitment, initially in one of our reception classes and we are therefore, seeking a leader with a track record of exceptional classroom practice.

Apprentice Administration Assistant

Salary Range: £3.50 per hour if aged under 19 or for those in their first year of apprenticeship. Following the first year, salary will be at least the minimum rate according to age.

Hours: 30, 43.21 weeks per year

Required: September 2017

Fixed Term Contract: 1 year, initially

 

We wish to appoint an outstanding person to train as an apprentice administrative assistant as part of our busy administration team.

 

The successful applicant will be the first point of contact for visitors and parents, as well as providing general administrative support ensuring the smooth running of the office. Confidentiality is essential along with the ability to cope under pressure whilst maintaining a friendly, courteous and professional manner with children, parents, staff and visitors.
