Since we brought the running of our school kitchen in house in November 2013 we have had greater control over the menus we offer whilst still producing delicious hot dinners.
Our fantastic kitchen team work closely with Watson, Lennard & Payne, a local Foodservice Management company, to develop our new menus and ensure they meet the latest national nutritional requirements. Where possible we source our produce locally.
All children in our Reception and Key Stage One classes are entitled to a free school meal and Mrs Sue Ellison, Catering Manager, and her team regularly offer special menus to tie in with the school curriculum.
At our recent parent consultation meetings, Mrs Ellison and her team prepared samples from the menu for parents to try.
